In related news, the hype for this album is at an all time high! Many are saying that Lil Wayne's new album is the most anticipated rap album since 50 Cent's Get Rich or Die Tryin' album! What's even more amazing is that there are some people/news portals including MTV who believe that Tha Carter III will sell a million copies during the first week.

We can all breathe a sigh of relief. Lil Wayne has teased us for a couple of years, but now the gates on his highly guarded project are opening. Tha Carter III is really coming out, and we definitely won't be talking "grand opening, grand closing" on June 10. I definitely believe that this album is a classic, but I am not sure that this album has the potential to go platinum during the first week of album sells. Not to hate, but Kanye West had a huge buzz when his Graduation album released and it didn't sell a million copies until the second week plus it's hard to sell big numbers these days when music gets leaked online to sites like InTheHype.com (LOL, sorry Weezy!).
