This is huge news in the music world! The most anticipated album of the year has lived up to the hype and broke the mark that has been very tough to break in this day and age. Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III album has surpassed the million copies sold mark during the first week of sales. It's been awhile since a hiphop artist has done this! Despite the record breaking amount of downloads of the leaked album, Weezy still broke the mark! This just shows that it is still possible to sale big numbers despite leaks.
Here's a message to all artists who are complaining that leaks are affecting sales:
Step ya game up and put out some real music for the masses and you won't have to worry about album leaks affecting your sales!
