The homey Illseed at AllHipHop.com has just disclosed that Jay-Z is trying to sign the best rapper alive who goes by the name of Lil Wayne! Yep, you see it! If you haven't heard, Jay-Z recently signed a huge deal with LiveNation worth $150 million and he is trying to make the best out of this business move by bringing Weezy to his roster.
Why would Wayne leave Baby and Cash Money Records? Well there has been alot of chatter that Lil Wayne is no longer happy with his current deal with Cash Money, because he feels that he is not being compensated fairly for his latest masterpiece, Tha Carter III, which sold a million records during the first week of sales.
Keep in mind that this is peer rumor at this point, but don't be surprised if this become reality soon.
