Kanye West Voted #1 on MTV's The Hottest MC's In The Game 2008

So I just got done watching The Hottest MC's In The Game 2008 on MTV and I must say that I definitely agree with MTV News Hip-Hop Brain Trust this year!

Clearly, the game has changed since 2007, because several MC's who made The Hottest MC's In The Game 2007 did not make this year's list. To refresh your memory, check out last year's list below.

Clearly, there were some names who did not make this year's list such as Jim Jones, whom hasn't been hot since his 2007 smash hit, "Ballin". In this year's list, Lil Wayne went from #1 to #3 and this is only due to that fact that his new album has not dropped yet. On the other hand, Kanye West went from #5 to #1 and has taken his game to another level with his smash hit album, Graduation and his current innovative tour, Glow In The Dark!

Jay-Z rightfully jumped from #7 to #2 due to the success of his last album, American Gangster and his current tour with Mary J. Blige as well as a number of other successful moves.

So here's a question that I would like to ask you.......
